The 10th Annual Morningside College Palmer Student Research Symposium scheduled for April 17th, 2013, is a campus-wide celebration of student involvement in research. Students can present research, both empirical and non-empirical, completed in a class or completed as an independent project under faculty supervision. Students can request an oral presentation, a poster demonstration, or a panel discussion. Oral and poster presentations will be judged in similar categories. Students have the option of submitting fall and/or spring projects during the open submission period.
This campus wide event kicks off at 7:45 a.m. in the Yockey Room with opening remarks by Dr. Bill Deeds. The Keynote Address by Dr. Paul Beaver will be at 12:45, in the UPS Auditorium. The keynote address is open to all.
All classes will be canceled so faculty and students can
participate in this event. Presentations will be held in classrooms throughout campus. |
