Four members of Morningside College’s swimming team have been named 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Four members of Morningside College’s swimming team have been named 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

The Mustangs’ swimming Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes are:

Jenna Bowmaster, a senior from Lincoln, Neb. Bowmaster has a 3.79 cumulative grade point average (GPA) with a major in Spanish teaching.

Jaimie Fast, a junior from Hastings, Neb., who has a 3.73 cumulative GPA with a major in nursing.

Hannah Hecht, a junior from Lansing, Kan., who has a 3.97 cumulative GPA with a major in English.

Josh Karel, a junior from Lincoln, Neb., who has a 3.99 cumulative GPA with a major in Spanish teaching.

Student-athletes must be of at least junior academic status and have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in order to be eligible for Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
