High school seniors will have an opportunity to learn more about college life during “Experience Morningside” senior visit days that begin Jan. 30 at Morningside College.

“Experience Morningside” visit days also are scheduled for Feb. 20 and March 13.

“The visit days are a great way for seniors to get to know Morningside and to find out if the college is a good fit for them,” said Stephanie Peters, director of admissions. “We customize the visit day to fit each student’s interests.”

Peters said that during a typical visit day a high school student will meet Morningside professors and current students, tour the campus and see the college’s new Buhler Rohlfs Hall classroom building, the new Krone Advising Center and the remodeled Hickman-Johnson-Furrow Learning Center.

Students will participate in financial aid and scholarship discussions, as well as learn about Morningside Mentorship, the college’s new advising program for first-year students.

Students also have an opportunity to meet with faculty in the fine arts, talk to athletic team coaches, sit in on a class and eat lunch in Morningside’s main dining hall.

To register for a visit day, call 712-274-5511 or 800-831-0806, ext. 5511. Students can also register online at www.morningside.edu/admissions.
