Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland

Position Description

 

Title: Non profit Management Intern

 

Hours: 10-20 Hours per week  Flexible with Student’s Schedule

 

Summary: Assist CEO with the planning & implementation of the BBBS of  Siouxland’s mentoring programs. Assist in

Sustainability by raising funds, grant writing and special event planning.

  

Responsibilities:

Work with CEO & senior staff in daily management

Assist in carrying out the agency’s strategic growth plan

Network with area service providers

Grant Writing

Special event planning, development of future planning

Staff Development

 

Requirements: Student should be a junior or senior majoring in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications,

Public Relations or Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Social Work

Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and be a self starter. 

Desire to assist CEO in agency’s goals and management duties.
