The Hillary Clinton for President Exploratory Committee is excited to announce new internship opportunities at our Iowa campaign offices. Internships are available in our Field, Communications, Political, Scheduling, Internet and Women ’ s Departments. Fall internships are part-time. Interested applicants must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational skills, an ability to work in a fast paced environment and solid computer skills. Good judgment, positive can-do attitude, independent thinking and enthusiasm for Democratic politics are a must. Internships are unpaid but course credit is possible. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable and engaging presidential campaign experience. Come be a part of electing the first women president and in the nation ’ s first caucus.
Members of senior staff will talk about what they do, how they got there and why they do it. In optimal circumstances, we will have one of these a week. Twice a month we will conduct professional skills workshops. This will ensure that you not only gain political experience, but that you leave with a fuller understanding of the campaigning process here in Iowa. We ’ ll include resume building, networking, interviewing, and more. Once a month we ’ ll hold a meeting where interns can give feedback on the program and suggest creative ideas for change and expansion.
