Housing Hints & Checklist

Helpful Advice

  • The college supplies a standard twin or extra-long twin bed frame, mattress, power strip, desk, and chair for each resident. (see lofting rules for more information on what is in each room)
  • You really don't need to bring everything you own.
  • Leave your phone number with your parents - you never know when they will need to talk to you while you are gone.
  • Don't over-pack; Mom and Dad can always ship "care packages" to you!
  • Consult with your roommate(s) ahead of time so you don't bring duplicate items (for example: TV, VCR, DVD, fridge, rugs)
  • You can buy things in Sioux City - IF YOU NEED THEM.  There is no need to panic if you forget something.
