Hometown: Cherokee, IA

Education: Bachelor of Arts Physical Education/Health, Buena Vista University 2014

Recruitment Area: I work with high school seniors from northern Nebraska, southern Iowa, and all of the northeast United States.

What I like about my job: What I really enjoy about my job is the opportunity to meet with students and families to help answer questions, show them the university, and be a resource when needed to help with the most important decision in their son/daughter’s life. Thinking back to my experiences I know this can be a stressful and scary time in a high school seniors life. I want to help ease this process and make it as simple as possible for all parties involved.

What I look for in a student: I look for a student that is motivated and wants to take the next step in going to college. Everyone has a reason why they want to go to college. If a student is motivated they have a desire to ask questions, want to be involved, and achieve goals. Choosing a college is one of the most important decisions in shaping a student for their adult life. I want to be a resource in showing why Morningside University would be a great fit for prospective students.

Hobbies: Any type of racket sport (pickleball, tennis, ping pong). I like to hang out with family and friends. I enjoy grilling, going for walks around the neighborhood, or traveling when possible. I really enjoy watching the NFL and playing fantasy football. Some of my favorite shows are Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, and Law & Order SVU.
