Dr. Jennifer Peterson teaches American literature, writing, literary analysis and critical theory, grammar, and the history of the English language. Her interests include twentieth- and twenty-first-century American literature, adolescent fiction, teaching pedagogy, folklore in film and texts, the function of food/consumption in narrative, and the intersection between haute and popular culture. She is certified to teach 7-12 English/Language Arts and enjoys preparing pre-service teachers to be more than effective classroom instructors—her aim is to guide them to inspire.
