Mark O’Connell serves as the Director for Donor Relations in institutional advancement.  He has responsibilities in fundraising efforts at Morningside, including meeting with donors, student Telethon, business campaign, and any activities that help further people’s philanthropic desires.

Mark, a 1985 Morningside alum, studied Business Administration and Industrial Psychology and was active in campus life—singing in choral music, serving as a resident advisor, and being part of Psi Chi and the Commons Board of Control. After a successful career in the call center industry, he joined Morningside in 2016 as the assistant director of the annual scholarship fund. His favorite part of the job? Hearing the incredible stories of how Morningside has shaped the lives of its alumni and friends.
