Mike joined the Institutional Advancement team in September of 2014. As the Assistant Vice President for Institutional Advancement, Mike leads a team of gift officers to help donors accomplish their philanthropic goals. Additionally, Mike works on major gifts and assists the Associate Vice President in shaping the overall operation for the department to achieve annual and long term goals. Mike finds it very rewarding to experience the impact and difference our donors make in the lives of our students.

Before joining the team at Morningside, Mike was a director of operations in the call center industry and an active member in the community serving on past boards of the Red Cross and Dakota Valley Business Council. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, and brings a wealth of business knowledge to his role.
