Hometown: Sioux City, Iowa

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Communication, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, 2022

Recruitment area: I work with high school seniors from southern and western Nebraska, as well as Colorado and Wyoming.

What I like about my job: I love having the opportunity to excite new students about their future and experience here at Morningside. Being fresh out of college myself, I can relate to all the emotions and feelings they are currently going through. This period is full of change and new beginnings, and I am beyond thrilled to be that person who can assist and guide them through such a pivotal moment. Sioux City for me was such an awesome place to grow and learn and I can’t wait to see the students succeed and love it here as well!

What I look for in a student: I look for students who desire to have a small campus feel along with a place that offers big opportunities. Morningside is a great fit for students wanting to form strong relationships with fellow students, faculty, and advisors. There are so many ways to get involved, whether that’s in the classroom, various clubs, or while participating in an athletic organization. I will enjoy watching how quickly they acquire that sense of belonging and begin to feel right at home!

Hobbies: I love spending my free time staying active, whether I’m going on runs or long walks with my dog Nash. You can also find me hanging out with friends on the weekends and enjoying peaceful nights with my family.
