Rabbi Meir Goldstein has nearly two decades of professional experience running schools, leading communities, and providing support to college-aged students. He studied Cultural Anthropology with a focus on social theory and the religions of India at the University of Arizona. Afterwards, he worked for AmeriCORPS Vista, working with homeless teenagers in the Pacific Northwest. A few years later, Rabbi Goldstein earned a Masters degree in Rabbinic Studies.
In 2006, he earned his ordination as well as the Chancellor’s Award for Academic Excellence.
For the past decade, he has been blessed to teach on college campuses including courses: American Jewish History, Golems and Superheroes, Social Justice Oration: Dr. Martin Luther King and Dr. Abraham Joshua Heschel, Kabbala and Sufism, Judaism and Islam, Medieval and Early Modern Jewish History. Rabbi Goldstein is blessed to be the rabbi and spiritual leader at Congregation Beth Shalom.
