Trace rejoined the Institutional Advancement team in August 2024 as the Director for Donor Engagement and Stewardship. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Eastern New Mexico University in 1995 and her master’s degree from Texas Tech University.

Trace brings a dynamic skill set to Morningside, having served as a high school journalism teacher in central Florida, Director of Residence Life at an NAIA school in Kansas, and most recently, as Vibe Manager at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Sioux City. At Morningside, her main mission is connecting with alumni and friends through impactful stewardship and focused fundraising efforts.
