Admissions Communications Specialist
Morningside University is looking to fill the part time position of Admissions Communications Specialist. This part-time role supports Morningside University’s enrollment management efforts by assisting with admissions communications, data analysis, and database management. This position plays a vital role in managing and implementing targeted communication strategies within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, tracking engagement, and providing data insights to inform recruitment efforts.
Responsibilities:
Communications Management
- Assist in creating and executing communication workflows and campaigns in the CRM system to engage prospective students through email, SMS, and other digital platforms.
- Develop and distribute customized communications for specific student segments based on data insights and strategic recruitment needs.
- Work with the Admissions Operations Coordinator and Vice President for Enrollment Management to design and adjust communication strategies to optimize prospective student engagement.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to analyze recruitment data, identifying opportunities for outreach improvements and areas of potential growth.
Administrative Support
- Coordinate with admissions and marketing staff to ensure that all communications align with Morningside University’s branding and recruitment objectives.
- Provide training and assistance to admissions staff on communication workflows as needed.
- Assist in managing relationships with external vendors that support enrollment communications, collaborating with them to ensure effective and timely delivery of services.
- Support event communications by creating targeted outreach and follow-up messaging for admissions events, ensuring a cohesive experience for prospective students and families.
- Provide support to the Data Coordinator and Analyst on various special projects as required.
- Act as a point of contact for prospective student inquiries related to admissions communications, providing timely and professional responses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, particularly in an admissions or enrollment context.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in data management, with attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft targeted messaging for prospective students.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and comfortable working with digital communication tools and platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
