Assistant Professor in Graduate Nursing Education
The Nylen School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Morningside University is seeking applications for a tenure-track appointment at the assistant professor level in Graduate Nursing Education. This position is a nine-month appointment beginning August 11, 2025.
Teaching duties:
- Teaching load is 24 credits per academic year.
- Teaching responsibilities include teaching online theory and practicum courses in the graduate MSN and DNP program.
- Performing additional faculty responsibilities within the School of Nursing and Health Sciences and University, including advising, university service, and professional development.
Qualifications: A Doctorate degree in the field of Nursing is required or wiliness to obtain a doctorate degree. Master’s degree in the field of Nursing is required. Must be licensed as an RN/APRN or eligible for licensure in the state of Iowa. Licensed as an APRN is preferred. Must have at least two years of practice as an RN.
