The Nylen School of Nursing and Health Science at Morningside University is seeking applications for a tenure-track appointment at the assistant professor level in Nursing Education. This position is a nine-month appointment beginning August 11, 2025.

Teaching duties:

• Teaching load is 24 credits per academic year which includes a May Term every three years.
• Teaching responsibilities include theory and clinical courses with an emphasis in simulation in the undergraduate BSN program.

Qualifications: A Master’s degree in the field of Nursing is required, doctorate degree preferred.  Certification or extensive experience in Simulation pedagogy.  Must be licensed as an RN and eligible to practice in the state of Iowa.
