Better prepare yourself for a variety of leadership positions in nursing. This may include clinical nurse leader, clinician, team leader, patient care coordinator, outcome manager, educator, client advocate, and system analyst and risk anticipator roles.

NURS 632 Clinical Nurse Leader Practicum II: Immersion – 300 clinical hours (3 cr)

NURS 646 Clinical Nurse Leader Capstone one day residency (3 cr)

500 clinical practicum hours and one on-site residency

Additional Program Details

Students wishing to complete the post-MSN clinical nurse leader certificate must also complete the three direct patient care courses and CNL specialty track courses. It is the expectation that post-MSN certificate students must master the same outcome criteria as graduate degree granting program students. This includes all clinical (500/750 hours) requirements for the specialty tracks.
