ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Complete the online MBA admissions application
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited higher education institution or have equivalent academic and professional work experience.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in undergraduate or graduate coursework from a regionally accredited higher education institution.
- If you do not have a 3.0 cumulative GPA, the last 60 hours of coursework completed will be considered under the same requirements. If you are denied admission because of failure to meet the GPA requirements, you will be allowed to register for coursework. After completing six graduate credit hours, you will be admitted if you maintain a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- If your undergraduate degree is not in a business field or if you did not take some important courses, you may be required to complete some bridge coursework to ensure you have the business foundations to be successful in the MBA program.
- GMAT/GRE NOT required, but if you have taken the exam your scores can be considered in your application
- Submit a Résumé or Curriculum Vitae highlighting professional experience and achievements
- Submit the names and contact information of two professional and/or academic references who will complete a short recommendation form.
- Undergraduate school of business majors at Morningside University who have a 3.2 GPA or approval from the dean can apply to take up to two master’s level courses (6 credit hours) in the last year of their undergraduate degree, reducing the MBA degree to 30 additional graduate credit hours.
- Students who complete the accelerated option and continue in the MBA program on a full-time basis can complete their MBA degree in one year.
