SIOUXLAND PROUD, MSIDE BOUND

Siouxland is our home, and everyone at Morningside is incredibly proud to be part of this thriving, close-knit community. To ensure we continue to be a top college choice for students in Siouxland, Morningside will offer full-tuition aid packages made up of Federal, State, and Morningside grants and scholarships to 100 total Siouxland students. Full-tuition will be awarded to two students from each of 44 Siouxland counties located
in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota. Additionally, four full-tuition grant and scholarship aid packages will be available to students in Woodbury County, Iowa; Dakota
County, Nebraska; and Union County, South Dakota.

To qualify for this program, students must complete the following by by Jan. 31, 2025

A selection committee will assess applications based on academic and financial criteria, with announcements made to successful candidates by mid-February.

The award package ensures that you will receive, at a minimum, the same dollar amount in Morningside grants and scholarships assistance toward tuition as in your first year for the entirety of your program, as long as you maintain good academic standing, enroll full-time, complete any required documentation by specified deadlines, and continue to live on campus. However, if tuition increases in future years or if you do not qualify for Pell grants in subsequent years, you will be responsible for covering the additional costs. Students who choose to live off-campus prior to earning 91 credit hours will have their award package reduced by $6,000.
