Campus Media

Campus Media is Morningside’s student-run media organization. Students have the opportunity to express themselves and share their interests through campus news coverage, sports reporting, radio shows, writing, and more. Students can use audio and video technology to report their stories, in addition to the printed page. For those more artistically oriented, graphic design, web design, and multi-media are other ways to participate in campus media.

The Collegian Reporter

The Collegian Reporter is Morningside’s campus digital newspaper. The Collegian Reporter helps students to gain real-world experience as editors, reporters, columnists, photographers and cartoonists. Those interested in the business side of publishing can get experience in advertising sales and underwriting.

Mustang TV

MustangTV is Morningside’s on-campus television station. Students can let their imaginations run wild by directing and producing content. If you have an idea, it can be done! Previous projects have been weekly talk shows, sports broadcasts, election coverage, and many more.

KMSC

The student-run radio station on Morningside Campus, on air since April of 1978. We broadcast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 92.9 FM.

Our DJs play songs from classic rock, country, alternative, pop, and much more! In addition to that, some DJ’s host live music events. Each year KMSC participates in world wide events such as World College Radio Day and Vinylthon, as well as focusing on community outreach with their annual Community Connections.
