Amber Burg will present her senior art show, “Think, Imagine, Create,” at Morningside College Tuesday, March 15, through Tuesday, March 22, in Eppley Art Gallery, 3625 Garretson Ave.

The show is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. A reception for the artist will be held at the gallery from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 20.

“Think, Imagine, Create” features multiple series of colorful high-speed motion photography and a series of infrared photography. Burg’s motion photography looks at what happens when a water balloon pops or a sound wave occurs and how the movement of liquids is affected by motion and sound. She also experiments with how liquid is affected when different forces act upon it. Burg’s infrared photography focuses on peaceful landscapes and scenery depicting beauty in nature.

Burg is a photography major at Morningside with minors in advertising and journalism. She has been conducting various high-speed motion studies since 2012 and has had a camera in her hand since before she was 16. She is the daughter of Steve and Cindy Burg of Murray, Neb.
