Morningside’s Austin Anfinson and Chad Bertagni were named to the 2015 College Division Academic All-America Football Team.

Austin Anfinson and Chad Bertagni have been named to the College Division Academic All-America Football Team as selected by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Anfinson, a junior offensive lineman from Hinton, Iowa, has a 3.83 cumulative grade point average (GPA) with majors in biology and chemistry.

Bertagni, a junior offensive lineman from Omaha, Neb., has a 3.98 cumulative GPA with majors in biology and chemistry.

Morningside’s football team has produced 10 Academic All-Americans over the last seven years.

Athletes must be of at least sophomore academic status, be a starter or significant reserve, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher to be eligible for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors.
