College to present Christmas at Morningside concert
Morningside College will present its 22nd annual Christmas at Morningside concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, in Eppley Auditorium on the Morningside campus. The concert is free and open to the public. Doors to Eppley Auditorium open at 6:30 p.m.

This year’s concert, “Wandering in Wonder and Glory,” will be a celebration of the miracle of Jesus’s birth.
The concert will feature performances by several Morningside Performing Arts Ensembles, including the Morningside Choir, Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Siouxland Master Chorale.
Conductors will be Heath Weber, associate dean for performing arts; Nate Hettinger, assistant director of choral activities; Shane Macklin, assistant professor of music and director of bands; Shirley Neugebauer-Luebke, adjunct professor of music; and Russ Nagel, artist faculty. The accompanist will be Michelle Grossman.
Students in the Morningside Civic Union will be collecting warm winter clothing, such as coats, gloves and hats but no blankets, in the lobby during the concert. Donations collected during the Morningside Holidrive will be given to the Siouxland Warming Shelter.
