Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln prep standout Colton Tracy will join the Morningside men’s basketball team for the 2014-15 season.

Colton Tracy, a 6-5 center from Council Bluffs, Iowa, will continue his basketball career at Morningside College announced Mustangs’ men’s basketball head coach Jim Sykes.

Tracy is a senior at Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln High School, where he was a first-team all-district performer and a second-team All-Missouri River Activities Conference (MRAC) selection this past season. He also earned first-team all-city honors from the Council Bluffs Daily Nonpariel and was also the Daily Nonpariel’s City Player of the Year.

He was the Lynx’s second leading scorer and top rebounder with averages of 11.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. Tracy also led the team in assists with 64 for an average of 2.8 per game and was second on the team with 15 blocked shots. Tracy made 104 of 218 field goal attempts for 47.7 percent, five of 13 3-point field goal attempts for 38.5 percent, and 55 of 92 free throw attempts for 59.8 percent.
