Neeia Cooperwood is the GPAC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for March 23-29.
Neeia Cooperwood, a senior from Omaha, Neb., is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for March 23-29.
Cooperwood won two events at last Saturday’s Wayne State College Wildcat Cat Classic with winning times of 24.13 seconds in the 200-meters and 55.42 seconds in the 400-meters. Her times were just off her school-record times of 24.02 and 55.41 she set last season and are the best in the NAIA so far this season.
