Ferran Cortilla was named the GPAC Co-Men’s Golfer of the Week.
Ferran Cortilla, a freshman from Barcelona, Spain, is the Hauff Mid-America Sports/Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Co-Men’s Golfer of the Week for April 11-17.
Cortilla was named the Co-GPAC Golfer of the Week along with Nolan Zikas of Concordia University and Renen Sahr of Midland University. All three players shot 74s to share individual medalist honors at last Monday’s GPAC Qualifier #3 tournament played at Firethorn Golf Club in Lincoln, Neb.
Cortilla’s 74 led the Mustangs to the team championship at GPAC Qualifier #3 with a team score of 311 for a two-stroke victory margin over runner-up Midland.
