Brent Curtis went 3-0 last week to earn the GPAC Wrestler of the Week award.
Brent Curtis, a sophomore from Omaha, Neb., has been named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Wrestler of the Week for Feb. 2-8.
Curtis had a 3-0 record in the Mustangs’ three dual meets last week, including a 7-4 decision against ninth-ranked Jesse Marek of Doane College to help lead the Mustangs to a 29-11 triumph against the Tigers. Curtis also won a 5-2 decision against Will Seydel of Dakota Wesleyan University and pinned Dickinson State University’s Brice Gorsline in 1:45 for his fifth fall of the season.
Curtis has won his last four matches to raise his season’s record to 12-9.
