Morningside’s Garret Ehlers and Kyle Kinney were named to the Capital One Academic All-District men’s cross country/track & field team.
Garret Ehlers and Kyle Kinney have been named to the 2013-14 Capital One Academic All-District 3 Men’s Cross Country/Track & Field Team as selected by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Their names will be placed on the national ballot for selection of the 2013-14 Capital One Academic All-America Men’s Cross Country/Track & Field Team.
Ehlers, a senior from Ida Grove, Iowa, has a 3.66 cumulative grade point average (GPA) with a major in religious studies.
Kinney, a junior from Sioux City, has a 3.90 cumulative GPA with majors in biology and chemistry.
Student-athletes must be of at least sophomore academic status and have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher to be eligible for Capital One Academic honors.
