Earle Knowlton, professor and director of the graduate education program at Morningside College, recently presented at two education conferences in Philadelphia, Pa.

Knowlton gave a presentation titled “Secondary Teachers’ Frequencies of Behavior-Specific Feedback While Delivering Simulated Lessons in a Virtual Learning Environment with and without Remote, Real-Time Coaching” at the Annual Meeting of the American Educational Research Association.

Knowlton also presented at the Annual Convention of the Council for Exceptional Children the following week. The title of his presentation was “Toward Social Validation of Augmented- Reality Simulation in Special Education Teacher Preparation.”

Before coming to Morningside College in 2014, Knowlton was a faculty member at the University of Kansas for 36 years, where he specialized in human-computer interaction as it pertains to teacher development and quality.
