Morningside College faculty members recently presented papers at the Council of Writing Program Administrators conference in Raleigh, N.C.

Their presentations were “Complacency in Faculty Development and the Need for Change” by Leslie Werden, associate professor of writing and rhetoric; “Creating Strategies for Assessing Teaching & Becoming Learners” by Susie Lubbers, assistant professor of education; and “Incorporating Education Technology in the First Year Program” by Kim Christopherson, educational technologist.

The Council of Writing Program Administrators hosts its annual conference every summer. The conference brings together researchers and teachers with interests in postsecondary writing instruction.
