Morningside is picked for a fourth place finish in the GPAC Men’s Basketball Coaches Pre-Season Poll. Morningside received 77 points and one of the 11 first place votes from the league’s head coaches.

The Mustangs return 11 lettermen including four starters, from a team that posted an 18-15 record last season and finished fourth in the GPAC with an 11-9 league mark. The Mustangs peaked at the end of the season by winning 10 of their last 13 games and reached the championship game of the GPAC’s post-season tournament.
Morningside will open the 2013-14 campaign on the road with a 5:30 p.m. game against William Penn University on Friday, Nov. 1.
