The website places Morningside in the ninth spot on a list of the top 25 small colleges and universities from around the country that offer the best value for students interested in obtaining a history degree.

The website highlights Morningside’s degrees in American history/world history teaching and American history/American government teaching, noting that Morningside offers some of the most focused teaching-related programs of any school included in the rankings.

The website also mentioned that Morningside offers a degree in public history with emphasis in historic preservation, historic tourism, library studies and museum studies.

The Best Value Schools website ranks small colleges (less than 3,000 undergraduate students) in various academic programs by evaluating factors such as academic depth, student support and affordability.
