Dr. Kelly Chaney joined Morningside College as the Dean of the Sharon Walker School of Education in fall 2020.
Sioux City, IA – Dr. Kelly Chaney joined Morningside College as the Dean of the Sharon Walker School of Education in fall 2020.
Chaney brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position with a demonstrated history of success in the higher education industry. She comes to Morningside from Marian University of Fond du Lac, where she served as the Dean of the School of Education and Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of Graduate Studies. Prior to that, she was a tenured professor and chair for the Department of Education and the Interim Provost at Blackburn College. Chaney earned her Master of Science in Education and Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University.
