Legislative forum set for March 29 at Morningside College
Iowa legislators will discuss the state of politics in Iowa and the progress made in the Iowa Legislature thus far this session during a legislative forum from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday in the Levitt Art Gallery in Eppley Auditorium on the Morningside College campus.
Iowa legislators will discuss the state of politics in Iowa and the progress made in the Iowa Legislature thus far this session during a legislative forum from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday in the Levitt Art Gallery in Eppley Auditorium on the Morningside College campus.
Legislators scheduled to participate in the forum are Rep. Jacob Bossman, Republican, District 6; Rep. Chris Hall, Democrat, District 13; and Sen. Jim Carlin, Republican, District 3. They will respond to questions from a panel of Morningside students.
Morningside’s Col. Bud Day Center for Civic Engagement and the Morningside Civic Union are sponsoring the forum.
