Morningside’s Blake Meacham and Eric Salmonson were named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Morningside’s Blake Meacham and Eric Salmonson were named 2016 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes in the sport of baseball.
Meacham, a junior outfielder-first baseman from Sioux City, has a 3.53 cumulative grade point average (GPA) with a major in business administration.
Salmonson, a junior catcher from Omaha, Neb., has a 3.85 cumulative GPA with a major in business administration.
Student-athletes must be of at least junior academic status and have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in order to be eligible for Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
