Morningside College recently announced the winners of the all-campus student art show, which is on exhibit through Thursday, March 3, in the Eppley Art Gallery.

Morningside College recently announced the winners of the all-campus student art show, which is on exhibit through Thursday, March 3, in the Eppley Art Gallery, 3625 Garretson Ave.

Winners in the graphic design category were Lauren Lehmkuhl of Wakefield, Neb., first place; Brianna Harding of Council Bluffs, Iowa, second place; and Sara Alexander of Le Mars, Iowa, third place. Harding also received an honorable mention.

Winners in the photography category were Jesseca Ormond of St. John’s, Antigua, first place and best in show; Margarita Ruelas of Sioux City, second place; and Amber Burg of Murray, Neb., third place. Burg and Jose Gonzalez of Santa Ana, Calif., also received honorable mentions.

Winners in the studio art category were Anna Ryan of Omaha, Neb., first place; Michelle Vasquez of Sioux City, second place; and Nikole Mueller of Sioux City, third place.

Judges were Sioux City painter Pauline Sensenig and photographer Robert Gillespie.

The show features drawing, painting, graphic design, photography, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, illustration and mixed media artwork. It is free and open to the public. The Eppley Art Gallery is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
