Morningside College recently announced three new faculty members in the School of Professional Studies.

Morningside College recently announced three new faculty members in the School of Professional Studies.
The new faculty members are Annie Kinwa-Muzinga, professor of agriculture; Ngamboko Papa “Lawrence” Muzinga, associate professor of business; and Daniel Witten, assistant professor of agriculture.
Kinwa-Muzinga previously served as a professor and agribusiness program co-chair for the School of Agriculture at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where she had taught since 2002. She also taught while studying in the United States and in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She has a Ph.D. in agricultural economics with a specialization in food and agribusiness management and strategic management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Muzinga taught at Morningside College last year as a visiting professor. He previously was an associate professor of business at the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa. Early in his career, he worked in banking in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He has a Ph.D. in agricultural economics with a specialization in agricultural finance and economic development from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Witten previously taught agricultural education and served as FFA adviser at Westwood Community School District in Sloan, Iowa, for almost 20 years. He also taught courses online for high school students and for students at Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City. He has a Master of Agriculture in professional agriculture from Iowa State University in Ames.
