Morningside College conferred 24 bachelor’s degrees and 141 Master of Arts in Teaching degrees in August.

Jose Cancino, Jennifer Fleming, Colton Jensen, Derek Krayenhagen and Ashley Marks of Sioux City received Bachelor of Arts degrees. Taylor Pluim, Aneesa Qureshi, Valente Romo and Jessica Turnquist of Sioux City received Bachelor of Science degrees. Qureshi graduated cum laude (with honor) with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher, Naylor graduated magna cum laude (with great honor) with a cumulative grade point average of 3.66 or higher, and Thomas graduated summa cum laude (with highest honor) with a cumulative grade point average of 3.81 or higher.
