Morningside College recently announced two new employees. They are Megan Leonard, area coordinator and student development coordinator for residence life, and Kyle Zellmer, grounds manager.

Morningside College recently announced two new employees.

The new employees are Megan Leonard, area coordinator and student development coordinator for residence life, and Kyle Zellmer, grounds manager.

Leonard coordinates the day-to-day functions of assigned residence halls and student development opportunities, including staff selection and training, student wellness programs, advising student government and more. Leonard previously served as a hall director at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, where she earned a master’s degree in higher education.

Zellmer is responsible for managing grounds care and other duties established by the director of physical plant. Zellmer has previous experience working in grounds care for the Sioux City Community School District and the Woodbury County Conservation Board. He has an associate’s degree in environmental studies from Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville.
