Morningside College Choir schedules spring performance tour of five states
The Morningside College Choir begins its five-state spring break tour with a 7 p.m. concert on March 6 at Faith Bible Church in Mapleton, Iowa. The concert is free and open to the public.
The Morningside College Choir begins its five-state spring break tour with a 7 p.m. concert on March 6 at Faith Bible Church in Mapleton, Iowa. The concert is free and open to the public.
Other performances on the tour are scheduled for March 7 at Overland Park Christian Church in Overland Park, Kan.; March 8 at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Arvada, Colo.; March 9 at United Presbyterian Church in Laramie, Wyo.; and March 11 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Omaha, Neb.
Tim Watson, assistant professor of music and director of choral activities at Morningside, will direct the performances.
The Morningside College Choir is a select 53-voice ensemble composed of the finest vocalists on the Morningside campus. The choir has performed extensively in the United States and toured in Europe and Asia.
