Morningside College’s Department of Mass Communication is sponsoring a free outdoor concert at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 1, in the Buhler Outdoor Performance Center, 3625 Garretson Ave., on the Morningside campus.
Morningside College’s Department of Mass Communication is sponsoring a free outdoor concert at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 1, in the Buhler Outdoor Performance Center, 3625 Garretson Ave., on the Morningside campus.
The “End-of-the-Year Concert Blowout” will feature local musicians, including The Buddha Cheese Band, Black Death Jet Set, GhostCat, and Elsa Va. The concert is part of a video project by Morningside senior Scott Martinson, who also will perform.
Concert goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. No alcohol is allowed at the concert.
