For 12 consecutive years U.S. News has designated Morningside a “Best College.” The U.S. News 2016 rankings are available at www.usnews.com/colleges.

The U.S. News rankings for the best regional colleges category are based on key indicators in seven broad areas: peer assessment, retention, graduation rate performance, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, and alumni giving.

U.S. News identifies regional colleges as institutions that focus on undergraduate education and offer a range of degree programs in the liberal arts and in professional fields such as business, nursing and education.
