Morningside College graduate receives national honor society award
Hannah M. Hecht, who graduated summa cum laude in May from Morningside College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, has been named one of five Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) national leaders of the year. Hecht is from Leavenworth, Kan.
Hannah M. Hecht, who graduated summa cum laude in May from Morningside College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, has been named one of five Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) national leaders of the year. Hecht is from Leavenworth, Kan.
ODK is a leadership honor society, headquartered in Lexington, Va., that recognizes and encourages superior scholarship, leadership and exemplary character.
The Morningside ODK circle (chapter) selected Hecht as its own leader of the year award recipient and nominated her for the national honor. At the national level, ODK recognizes five candidates for the award.
Hecht received a $1,000 graduate studies scholarship from the Omicron Delta Kappa Foundation, Inc. The Morningside ODK circle received a $300 programming grant.
