The Morningside College Jazz Band and the Eclectix Vocal Jazz Ensemble will present a concert at Morningside College at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 20, in Eppley Auditorium.
The Morningside College Jazz Band and the Eclectix Vocal Jazz Ensemble will present a concert at Morningside College at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 20, in Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave.
The concert is free and open to the public.
The program will include music ranging from the contemporary Radiohead all the way back in time to Duke Ellington. Graduating seniors also will be recognized.
The Morningside College Jazz Band is a student ensemble that performs music written for big band. It is under the direction of Tony Hutchins.
The Eclectix Vocal Jazz Ensemble is a student ensemble that performs a mix of jazz, show and pop tunes both a cappella and with a rhythm section. It is under the direction of Tim Watson.
