The Morningside College Philosophy Club will present a Zombie Lecture Series featuring Morningside College faculty members from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, and Wednesday, Oct. 26, in the UPS Auditorium in Lincoln Center.

The Morningside College Philosophy Club will present a Zombie Lecture Series featuring Morningside College faculty members from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, and Wednesday, Oct. 26, in the UPS Auditorium in Lincoln Center, 3627 Peters Ave.

The events are free and open to the public.

“You can learn a lot from a zombie,” said Dr. Alden Stout, assistant professor of philosophy and adviser of the Morningside College Philosophy Club. “This lecture series investigates our cultural fascination with zombies through the lenses of diverse perspectives.”

On Oct. 25, Dr. Tessa Weinstein, assistant professor of mathematics, will speak on “The Mathematics of the Zombie Apocalypse,” and Dr. Jessica Tinklenberg, associate professor of religious studies, will speak on “A Taste of Salt: Zombies, Apocalypses, and Religion in Haiti and Beyond.”

On Oct. 26, Dr. Aaron Bunker, assistant professor of biology, will speak on “The Biology of Zombies,” and Stout will speak on “Human Nature and Zombie Nature: What Zombies Teach Us About Our Identity.”
