Christina Triezenberg, assistant professor of English at Morningside College, recently published an article in the spring 2018 issue of Midwestern Miscellany entitled “Inviting Us to Come Closer: Philip Levine’s Portraits of Detroit.”
Midwestern Miscellany is produced by the Center for the Study of Midwestern Literature and Culture at Michigan State University in East Lansing. The spring 2018 issue commemorated the life and work of Philip Levine, the late U.S. poet laureate from Detroit whose best-known works celebrate the experiences of the working class of America’s industrial heartland.
Triezenberg joined the Morningside faculty in the fall of 2016 as an assistant professor of English. She holds a doctorate in English from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.
