Morningside College professor receives fraud examiner certification
Twyla Rosenbaum, associate professor of accounting and business administration at Morningside College, has received the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Twyla Rosenbaum, associate professor of accounting and business administration at Morningside College, has received the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
CFE certification indicates that Rosenbaum has demonstrated knowledge important to the detection of business fraud, including the ability to examine data and records to detect and trace fraudulent transactions, testify at trial, and understand the law as it relates to fraud and fraud investigations.
Accounting majors offered at Morningside College include courses to prepare students for possible careers as forensic accountants. Federal and state government agencies, national and regional CPA firms, and international accounting firms employ forensic accountants.
Rosenbaum joined the Morningside faculty in 2003. She has MBA and law degrees from the University of South Dakota.
