Morningside College receives $10,000 grant for “Into the Woods” production
Morningside College has received a $10,000 grant from the Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts, to support the college’s spring production of “Into the Woods.”

The Stephen Sondheim musical “Into the Woods” will be presented in March 2015 as part of the 2014-15 season of Morningside’s Betty Ling Tsang Fine Arts Series. Performances will run March 19 through 22 and March 26 through 29 in Klinger-Neal Theatre on the Morningside campus.
“The Iowa Arts Council grant supports expansion of the Betty Ling Tsang Fine Arts Series and helps continue our mission to provide a wide range of free, quality music and theatre performances to the community and college,” said Randy Peters, artistic director for the fine arts series.
Additional funding for “Into the Woods” is provided by Morningside College and the Gilchrist Foundation.
