High school seniors will have an opportunity to learn more about college life during “Experience Morningside” senior visit days that begin Jan. 27 at Morningside College.

“Experience Morningside” visit days also are scheduled for Feb. 20 and March 17.

“A campus visit gives seniors and their families a firsthand view of the college and provides valuable insight into what Morningside has to offer and what the campus ‘feels’ like.  They get a sense of the college’s vibrancy, character and facilities,” said Stephanie Peters, director of admissions. “Additionally, we customize the visit day to fit each student’s interests.”

Peters said that during a typical visit day a high school student will meet Morningside professors and current students, tour the campus and participate in financial aid and scholarship discussions. The students also have an opportunity to meet with faculty in the fine arts, talk to athletic team coaches, sit in on a class and eat lunch in Morningside’s main dining hall.

To sign up for a senior visit day, students can register online at www.morningside.edu/admissions.  Call 712-274-5511 or 800-831-0806, ext. 5511 for more information.
