Joy Krei of Sioux City, a senior managerial accounting and business administration major at Morningside College, has received a $2,500 scholarship from the Iowa Society of CPAs (ISCPA).

ISCPA awards annual scholarships to accounting students who are pursuing a goal of becoming a certified public accountant and meet specific academic qualifications. The Iowa CPA Education Foundation Advisory Committee, which is comprised of ISCPA members, selects the scholarship recipients.

Krei was one of only three college students in Iowa selected to receive an ISCPA scholarship for the 2017-18 academic year. ISCPA CEO Cindy Adams and ISCPA President Brad Hauge presented the scholarship to Krei at the organization’s annual meeting held recently in Altoona, Iowa.

ISCPA is the largest professional organization dedicated to certified public accountants, accounting professionals and accounting students in Iowa.
